Rumer Willis is set to guest star on “90210,” Access Hollywood can exclusively reveal.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis’ eldest daughter has scored herself the role of Gia for at least one episode in the series, which is set at the fictional West Beverly High School in Los Angeles.

Rumer’s character Gia has been described as a punky cute lesbian who isn’t afraid to speak her mind, a rep for The CW, which airs the teen series, told Access.

Gia will work at school paper the Blaze News alongside Navid (Michael Steger), Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) and Silver (Jessica Stroup).

Rumer isn’t the only star headed to West Beverly. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, former “Days of Our Lives” hunk Trevor Donovan has joined the cast as teenage tennis player Teddy.

“90210” returns to The CW this fall.

News is that ‘Days of our Lives’ hunk Trevor Donovan is the latest hottie to become part of 90210.

90210 has tapped Abercrombie & Fitch model-turned-soap star Trevor Donovan to fill the show’s “golden boy” vacancy, sources confirm to me exclusively.

The genetically blessed Donovan, who channeled Days of Our Lives bad boy Jeremy Horton for four months in 2007, will play Teddy, West Beverly’s own version of JFK Jr. Gorgeous, smart, athletic, charming, and naturally confident, Teddy has the unique ability to make any girl feel like she’s the most beautiful person in the room. And any guy like he’s a cross between Shrek and Jiminy Glick.

Donovan, whose 90210 gig is described as heavily recurring, will debut early on in the show’s upcoming second season.

AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Stroup, and Jessica Lowndes raised their ice cream cones as a toast as they filmed some beachy scenes for the second season of 90210 in LA on Thursday. AnnaLynne rocked a shiny pink bikini while the Jessicas stuck with cute one-pieces. Noticeably absent from their Summer celebration was their costar Shenae Grimes, though it’s not a big surprise after the falling out Annie had with her classmates on the season finale.

It’s drama heading for more drama when two teen shows are ready to combine, and it sounds as though this is going to happen sooner than you think.  According to 90210’s own AnnaLynne McCord, the CW series she stars in might just mix things up with the upcoming remake of the hit Melrose Place.

Portraying the character Naomi Clark on 90210, McCord told E! Online about the possibility of such a crossover.  She said that there have been discussions about the idea, and the cast is rather open to working on it.

“The producers have actually mentioned that to us,” she said.  “We don’t know who or where or what or when yet, but they want that very much.”  There’s so much more to anticipate when the show comes back on air, making it seem like the network is really banking on the show.  Still, it’s a treat for many fans.

As for her character, AnnaLynne McCord is expecting even more changes to come her way.  We were left last season with quite a sad conclusion for Naomi, which means it can only get better once the sophomore installment of 90210 arrives.

“Obviously there was a horrible ending for poor Naomi,” McCord revealed.  “She is over Liam, and she is over Annie.  She goes through the first half of the season really trying to prove that to herself.  I don’t think she’s really over him, but we’ll see that push and pull.”

She was also asked about the mystery of who Annie (Shenae Grimes) hit with her car.  The cast recently found out the identity of the victim and what really happened.  Hearing about it, the actress could only say: “It’s really bad.”

There’s going to be plenty of new twists in the upcoming season of 90210, from the addition of new cast members for the Beach Club and the resolution of some previous issues.  Catch the return of the show this September 8, Tuesday on the CW.

The first season of “90210” ended with a few cliffhangers, including Annie’s (Shenae Grimes) explosive departure from Naomi’s (McCord, pictured) after-prom party after she was accused of cheating with Naomi’s guy, Liam (Matt Lanter). Although, it was actually Naomi’s sister who cheated with Liam. And then there was Annie’s alleged drunken hit-and-run after she left the party. This left many questions for fans including: Who or what did Annie hit with her car? Will Naomi and Liam get back together? Will Naomi and Annie ever be friends again? Will Naomi ever find out about her sister’s antics?

As for the hit-and-run, McCord said the cast recently found out what happened and, “It’s really bad,” according to an Eonline report.

McCord also commented on the “horrible ending” for her character and dished on what to expect from Naomi in the upcoming season.

“She is over Liam, and she is over Annie. She goes through the first half of the season really trying to prove that to herself. I don’t think she’s really over him, but we’ll see that push and pull,” McCord said in the report.

A new character named “Teddy” will apparently catch the eye of Naomi and Annie in the upcoming season, but the tennis pro will end up with Silver (played by Jessica Stroup), according to TVGuide.com. That pretty much confirms the end to another season cliffhanger with Silver’s love triangle with Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Ethan (Dustin Milligan), along with the fact that Ethan is leaving the show.

Lanter also dished on the upcoming season in the Eonline report, stating more will be revealed about Liam’s family life.

“It’s ‘90210′ so I’m sure there are going to be some new romances and some jealousy and backstabbing,” Lanter added.

When “90210” goes back to the beach for season two, it’s reportedly bringing some new characters along for the ride.

The Beverly Hills Beach Club, featured on the original series, “Beverly Hills, 90210,” will be featured in the upcoming season of the new “90210” on the CW network, according to a report by Access Hollywood. The teens from West Beverly Hills High School may find themselves in even more passionate plotlines at the summer hangout, as more actors are being cast on the teen drama, a representative from the CW network told Access Hollywood.

The new characters who will be spotted at the beach club include: Bitsy Liberman, a 30-something pregnant woman who is the wife of a big Hollywood player, and reportedly goes head-to-head with Naomi Clark (played by AnnaLynne McCord; pictured); Mark Driscott, a high school senior who seduces Annie Wilson (played by Shenae Grimes); Julian, a man in his early 20s who works at the beach club’s front desk; Diego, a hunky beach club employee who caters to Naomi’s every need; and Rowan, a lifeguard of British or Australian descent, according to Spoiler TV.

Production of the show’s second season was scheduled to begin filming in June. Filming of the beach scenes will not be at the same club used in the original series due to earthquake damage sustained in 1994, according to Access Hollywood’s report. The new beach club scenes will reportedly be on set and at an undisclosed location.

The new season of “90210″ will premiere on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at 8 p.m. ET, according to the CW network.
