Breaking up the monotony of a long day on the set, Jessica Stroup was spotted riding a Vespa while filming “90210” yesterday (August 11). [VIEW PHOTOS]
The brunette beauty looked to be having lots of fun as she learned how to ride the scooter with the help of a security guard.
And adding to her growing portfolio, Jessica recently did a photo shoot for a spread in the new issue or Esquire magazine.
In the pictures, Miss Stroup shows off her fun and flirty side, sporting a variety of outfits that span from playful to downright sexy.
‘90210′ casts Annie’s strange new friend
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009Remember last month when I told you that Annie will get strangely close with the nephew of the guy she supposedly killed in the “90210″ finale? Well, the role has gone to actor Zachary Ray Sherman.
The CW confirms that Sherman will be playing Jasper Herman, an odd character who, sources tell me, comes into Annie’s life because his dead uncle left West Beverly a lot of cash in his will.
Annie will befriend Jasper after she learns of his connection to her victim, but Jasper comes off as a pretty shady dude. Seems like he might even know Annie’s secret and be sticking around to mess with her head.

AnnaLynne McCord dishes on her wishes for ‘90210′
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009“90210” star AnnaLynne McCord has a few wishes for her character in the upcoming season of the CW drama.
McCord (pictured, right), who plays Naomi Clark, would love to have her two sisters, Angel and Rachel, guest star on “90210” as friends of Naomi, according to Eonline’s Marc Malkin.
“I’m really pushing for it,” McCord said in the interview. “I really would love to have my sisters on because they really are my best friends in the whole world. It would be really cool if they could come and be Naomi’s two new friends.”
McCord has also spoken out about wanting to meet President Barack Obama in person to discuss her advocacy work, but she also wouldn’t mind if her character was able to meet the President on the show.
“Naomi goes to the White House to meet the president would be an awesome storyline. Of course, Naomi would be going with some personal ulterior motive that has nothing to do with helping anybody,” McCord told Eonline.
Another wish the “90210” starlet is not giving up on is a crossover episode with “Gossip Girl.” She wants actor Ed Westwick’s bad-boy character, Chuck Bass, to show up in Naomi’s zip code.
“I still want that to happen,” McCord told Eonline. “I think if I keep speaking about it, it will happen.” [READ MORE]
‘90210’s’ grown-up characters get juicy storylines
Friday, July 31st, 2009
What separates “90210” from other teen dramas is the juicy storylines surrounding the grown-up or parental characters, and the upcoming season should be no different.
Longtime character Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) was part of the original “Beverly Hills, 90210,” but she isn’t just a nostalgia factor on the CW’s new “90210.” She’s been involved in the big storylines surrounding her half-sister, Erin “Silver” Silver’s (Jessica Stroup) bipolar disorder and even her own love triangle with teacher Ryan Matthews (Ryan Eggold) and Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty), who was also a character from the original show. And fans haven’t seen anything yet, as Kelly is rumored to have an affair with Harry Wilson (Rob Estes), the school principal and father to main characters, Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds).
The affair won’t happen soon, but is part of a long-term plan for the storyline, sources told Mickey O’Connor of TVGuide.com.
As for this fall, Kelly (pictured above, right), Harry (pictured above, center) and his wife (pictured above, left), Debbie Wilson (Lori Loughlin), are expected to have amped-up storylines, according to the report. Kelly’s guidance counselor role will reportedly come into play as she is rumored to be the first person to uncover Annie’s alleged hit-and-run in the season finale.
The amped-up, grown-up storylines is good news to longtime Kelly fans, since rumors had been circulating that the show’s executive producer Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, would move away from the show’s nostalgia.
As for other grown-up characters, teacher Ryan Matthews is also expected to stick around and continue dating bad-girl Jen Clark (Sara Foster), despite rumors that he would be joining the cast of the new “Melrose Place,” also on the CW network. Another parent will be introduced as John Schneider joins the cast this fall as Liam Court’s (Matt Lanter) stepfather, and their rocky relationship is expected to bring more drama to the show. And Brenda Walsh and Donna Martin (Tori Spelling), both characters of the original show, are on the table to reprise their roles once again for season two, but have not officially signed on yet, Zap2It.com learned from the show’s producers.

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009Is Donna Martin coming back to 90210 next season?
There’s no official word, but Tori Spelling certainly hopes so. She tells us, “I had a great time. All the fans are really happy that Donna is back, so I hope to do more.” So what would little miss Donna be doing if she stuck around Beverly Hills? “Ideally, it would be awesome if David (Brian Austin Green) moved back to Beverly Hills, and we could have Ruby, our baby. I could be a designer and have everything—have my cake and eat it, too. I think it would be great for the fans,” adds Tori.

Who dies on 90210?
We won’t know until next year. We’ll see what appears to be a dead body in the 90210 finale, but the person’s face will remain hidden.

REVIEW – Off The Rails
Thursday, April 9th, 2009
I have to say that I was a little dubious going into this episode. I knew that Jason Priestley directed it, so I was unsure whether or not this would make the show different in any way. Thankfully, and somewhat unthankfully, the show stayed relatively the same.
Episode Recap: The episode opened with Ryan Matthews and Erin Silver where the previous episode, “Life’s A Drag,” left off. I enjoyed this because some other shows would just skip ahead a day or two. This was a smart decision because I, the viewer, did not feel like any pieces of Silver’s “freak show” were missing. Silver eventually sneaks out of the apartment and begins her paranoid drive through the city. Soon after, word of the break-in/breakout travels to the ears of the core cast of 90210, who are all sympathetic and caring… except Dixon Wilson, who seemed like he was not concern whatsoever. All of the characters search the city; the cops were even called into the show.
“She’s probably out partying somewhere, or slutting it up with some guy… that’s what Kelly did.” – Jackie Taylor
While Kelly is searching the town for her loony sister, the beautiful Adrianna and her boyfriend Navid watch over Sammy (Kelly and Dylan’s son). Adrianna is a little hesitant at first, but eventually catches on the whole babysitting idea. She reveals that she has almost every intention of giving her child up for adoption.
