He says the vibe has changed since the two stars took off.
The CW’s 90210 has certainly taken a hit in the past month — both Jennie Garth and Rob Estes decided to leave the show to pursue other ventures — but star Tristan Wilds says the cast is carrying on just fine. “We still remain family,” he told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at OK! magazine’s 3rd Annual Midnight Grammy Brunch on Jan. 30 in Hollywood. And as for the vibe on set, he says it’s a little different now. “Not in a bad way,” he said. “Not in a good way. It’s just different.”

Tristan’s answer was definitely more toned down than the one we got from another 90210 star, AnnaLynne McCord. When we asked her about the couple’s exit from the show, she was pretty blunt about her feelings.

“Um … [Jennie] hasn’t been on the show in a few episodes, but, um, we had fun,” she told us at the Jan. 28 Artists for Haiti event in Los Angeles. “Thank you for letting us do your show over again. We appreciate that.” And even though she didn’t seem to care about Jennie, she said she was “devastated” about Rob. “As everyone knows, I’m in love with Rob as are most women in the universe,” she raved. “I’m going to really miss you, Rob!!”

Things are about to go downhill for 90210’s Tristan Wilds.

At least for Dixon, the character he plays on the prime-time soap opera.

Last we saw, Dixon found out that his older ex-girlfriend, Sasha (Mekia Cox), is pregnant with his child. Wilds says this is just the beginning of Dixon’s problems…

“Besides the pregnancy, something’s going to happen that’s definitely going to send Dixon down a bad path,” Wilds told us at the recent official DJ Hero launch event at West Hollywood’s Key Club. “There’s something that’s going to make Dixon really, really closed in, especially to his parents.”

Meanwhile, Wilds says he feels for the stars over at 90210’s sister show Melrose Place.

“It’s the first season, so of course there’s going to be hiccups and things wrong,” he said. “Usually they wait a season, smooth everything out and come back a second season, like us.”

“Last year, everything was rocky, we admit that,” Wilds continued. “But this season, more people love it and we found our mistakes.”

 Tori Spelling and Stella Doreen continue the book tour with a book signing of “Mommywood” held at The Grove on Monday (April 20) in Los Angeles, Calif.

The 35-year-old mother-of-two recently talked to Hannity about her new book and growing up in the spotlight. “People always say to me — I started 90210 when I was 16. And I had every opportunity — money, fame, you know — to go down the wrong path,” Tori said.

“And people say, ‘Why didn’t it happen to you?’ You know, why didn’t you go the wrong way?’ And I simply say, ‘Because I had my eye on the prize.’” Tori continued. “I was given a very fortunate opportunity, and I wasn’t going to screw it up. I wanted to be an actor.”

Tristan Wilds has been cast in the World War II drama “Red Tails.”

The film, written by John Ridley and directed by Anthony Hemingway, details the true story of the 332nd Fighter Group, an elite all-black unit of escort pilots known as the Red Tails. George Lucas is an executive producer, and Rick McCallum is producing.

Wilds will play Ray “Ray Gun” Knight, a flyboy nearly blinded over Nazi-occupied Italy who becomes the wingman of his friend and cohort, Marty. The two face the prejudice of the U.S. military as much as the overseas enemy but end up establishing an unprecedented record.

Wilds, repped by J. Mitchell Management and Abrams Artists, stars on the CW’s “90210″ and appeared in the films “The Secret Life of Bees” and “Half Nelson.” He also had a recurring role on HBO’s “The Wire.”

The National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Commincations (NAMIC) Vision Awards is the entertainment industry’s way to recognize quality multi-ethnic and cross-cultural television programming. The 15th Anniversary NAMIC Vision Awards will be presented April 17 at a luncheon ceremony hosted by Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson.
